Touko Cosplay Hat and Bag by Rose-vi-Britannia Touko Cosplay Hat and Bag by Rose-vi-Britannia
The quality is horrible I know but my phone camera is horrid.

So this is the Hat and Bag I made for my Touko cosplay. If you didn't know, she is the Female trainer from Pokemon Black and White.

The Hat I bought plain from Lids and then painted on the pokeball with fabric paint. I cut a hole on the top and sewed around that for her high ponytail. I also folded up the back of the cap so it would fit more like a baseball cap rather than a trucker hat.

The bag I made completely from scratch all thank to this awesome tutorial: [link]
I altered the sizing so it would fit my laptop and be wider than longer. The bag took about three days to do since I'm very new to sewing and whatnot.

The Master Ball was given to me by my wonderful friend Mika. The Oshawott I bought at the store.

This is incredible, and I want to do this as well! I'm just wondering, what did you do for her black armbands and black vest?

Thank-you!

For the black vest I took a standard men's long sleeve dress shirt (I had it laying around) and cut off the sleeves. I also took about 2in out of each side where it buttons up.

For the armbands i took the excess material from the shirt and just sewed a simple cuff. I haven't gotten any chance to put in the pink line however if I did I'd use a sewing machine to stitch a thick visible line with pink thread.

Depending on your own body type you could probably use any kind of dress shirt but I used a men's because it was more loose hanging on me and also because I happened to have it sitting around.

I got it from the Lids store in my mall. It's one of the basic 2 color trucker hats. I paid 15$ for it i believe. The front takes very well to fabric paint and I believe they had one that had the colors for Touya if you were looking for that as well.

What tool did you use to cut the hat?

Just a pair of sharp scissors. I made the hole about 1/4 in down from the top point of the hat and about 1 and a 1/2 in wide.
