Title:
Louder than Thunder
Synopsis:
Vampire Twins are both rare and a harbinger for misfortune. When twin brothers, Cort and Xavier, are born, the Sapphiri House is in an uproar. Faced with the question of succession, the brothers grow up as both rivals and best friends. The day comes when the Sapphiri House decides who is to be the next male Head of the clan. Much to everyone's shock, they choose the younger brother. Filled with hatred and anger for the clan and his younger brother, Cort leaves.
Predicting this would happen, the twins mother calms Xavier down, saying that his brother has always had the temper of the two and will be back in a few years after cooling down. Xavier, who knows his brother better than anyone, doubts his mother but listens to her advice. Little does he know, Cort has already dragged the innocent and un-expecting Nikole forever into this conflict; bringing the unprecedented to the clan.

The Vampire political system is complicated. There are 12 Clans and each of those clans are lead by two "heads of the family"; one male one female. The male and female heads of any particular house are not married; they each have their own family. The Vampire "Council" is made up of the male and female heads of each Clan.

This is set in my vampire/shapeshifter world that i have been creating for my other story.
The title is most likely temporary. I'm horrid at coming up with good titles so I’m using the title of the song that got me thinking of this story.

Sounds great. I'm really intrigued by the concept of a vampire political system and the vampire twins. Talk about sibling rivalry. The synopsis definitely has me interested.

I like the title so far, but I guess that's why they call it a working title... because halfway through the book you might come up with one you like more.
I love the name Xavier btw, Xavier Sapphiri just works well. I'm really interested to know where the shapeshifter portion comes into play and Nikole's involvement in the story. I can't wait to start reading it.
